Our Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program is designed for experienced professionals who aspire to advance their careers by acquiring in-depth knowledge of business practices, research methodologies, and leadership strategies. Admission Requirement
Local Applicant
We welcome local applicants to join our Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia.
Entry Requirements
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant field or a field recognized by the Senate of Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia; OR
- Other qualifications equivalent to a Master’s Degree recognized by the Senate, subject to a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience and thorough internal evaluation; OR
- Without relevant qualifications in the field or relevant work experience, must meet the prerequisites set by UTHM by passing the following courses:
- Fundamentals of Accounting and Finance
- Business Management
- Principles of Economics
- This programme also accepts students through APEL.A T-8 for those who do not have a master’s degree, in accordance with the criteria set by the MQA.
English Requirements
Applicants must fulfill the minimum English proficiency aligned to CEFR Mid B2 as follows:

International applicants who have graduated from universities in Malaysia are eligible to apply for exemption from the English Language Proficiency requirements.
International applicants who have graduated from universities in designated English speaking countries may also be exempt from the requirement.

Application Method
Interested applicants can apply for DBA at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) via online application form. All applications including applicants’ credentials are assessed based on individual merit by respective committee.
