Building Bridges in Business Education: JBS x Nikkei BizRuptors

Johor Business School (JBS), Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) had the pleasure of visiting Nikkei BizRuptors, Nikkei Business Lab Asia Ltd. in Bangkok, Thailand for an insightful engagement session.

The JBS delegation, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Shafie Mohamed Zabri (Dean of Johor Business School), was accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Sarah Omar and Ts. Dr. Muhammad Asyraf Hasim, together with Assoc. Prof. Ir. Dr. Noor Yasmin Zainun (FKAAB) and Dr. Mohd Yussni Hashim (FKMP). All five delegates are members of the Business Advisory and Coaching Network (BEACON), appointed by the Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR), a subsidiary of SME Bank.

The meeting served as an excellent platform for Johor Business School to reconnect with the Nikkei team following their initial engagement during the International Case Study Congress (ICSC 2025) in Johor. The session was hosted by Ms. Makiko Sugiyama (President, Nikkei Business Lab Asia Ltd.) and Mr. Narupat Rattanakit (Marketing, Sales & Customer Relations Specialist), providing valuable opportunities to exchange perspectives on advancing business education and case-based learning across the ASEAN region.

The discussion was marked by an inspiring exchange of ideas, paving the way for impactful academic partnerships that foster innovation and shared learning.
