Overview
Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) has a tradition of producing graduates with high technical skills. Our Master of Business Admnistration (MBA) programme aims to provide an integrated and relevant knowledge of business management and technical management. The programme is designed to produce graduates who are able to think critically, ethically and perform systematic analysis of complex problems, as well as provide economic solutions that are socially and environmentally responsible.
Our programme offers you the opportunity to reflect on your managerial experiences and extend your knowledge into new areas. Elective areas of studies include Technopreneurship and Real Estate. It exposes you to management theory and practice, technology-based learning experience, and strong networking ties.

Admission Requirement
Local Applicant
We welcome local applicants to join MBA in University Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. Our Master of Business Administration has received the full accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) under code MQA/FA 10711.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree with honours in a relevant field and a minimum CGPA of 3.0, without work experience; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree with honours in a relevant field and those not achieving a CGPA of 3.00 (CGPA < 3.00) can be accepted, subject to a minimum of work experience in the related field. One (1) year of work experience is equivalent to 0.1 GPA; OR
- A Bachelor’s degree with honours in a relevant field and a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not achieving 3.00 (2.5 ≤ CGPA < 3.00) can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment conducted and endorsed by the Faculty’s Graduate Studies Committee; OR
- Candidates without qualifications in a related field or without related work experience, or both, must undertake and PASS prerequisite courses specified by the faculty. Candidates need to achieve a minimum grade of B and meet the minimum CGPA based on the admission requirements mentioned in 1 and 2
**This programme also accepts students through APEL (APEL A and C) according to the criteria set by the MQA.

- Interested candidate can apply for Master of Business Administration at Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) via online application form. All applications including candidates’ credentials are assessed based on individual merit by respective committee.
Admission Requirement
International Applicant
We look forward for international applicants to join MBA in Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia. We offer conducive environment for studies and various activities for international students. Candidates who fulfill the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL) will be accepted.
Requirements
- All international applicants shall meet the English entry requirement, which is either with a minimum IELTS score of 6.0, or TOEFL score of 550. An exception shall only be given to those applicants who received a bachelor’s degree from a university where English is the sole language of instruction.
