PTPTN
The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) is an education loan provided by the Malaysian government to help Malaysians finance their higher education at local institutions. This loan covers tuition fees and living expenses, and applications can be made online through the myPTPTN portal, which provides information on the duration and eligibility requirements.
EPF Education Withdrawal Scheme
This withdrawal facility allows you to use your savings from Account 2 to fund your education. You are eligible to apply if you meet one of the following criteria:
A Malaysian citizen, or
A Permanent Resident, or
A non-Malaysian (Expatriate) who registered as an EPF member before 1 August 1998.
You may apply for this scheme to pay programme fees either on a semester basis or for one academic year (limited to one withdrawal per academic year).
Commercial Banks
Applicants may apply through any commercial bank that offers education loans, such as Affin Bank, Maybank, CIMB Bank, Bank Islam, and others.
