This program, organized by Johor Business School (JBS) UTHM, successfully concluded on Saturday, 26 October, 2024, with the participation of over 60 qualified donors among Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) students and staff, as well as the Parit Raja community. Additionally, more than 50 potential donors were unable to donate this time due to factors such as health issues or involvement in high-risk activities, among others. Heartfelt congratulations to all donors—your contributions save lives.
To make this program a success, Johor Business School (JBS) UTHM collaborated with Sultanah Nora Ismail Hospital (HSNI) Batu Pahat through The Lions Club of Batu Pahat, an NGO actively engaged in community service, social work, and other community-building activities in Batu Pahat, along with the UTHM Off-Campus Residential College (KKLK). Several companies also joined to provide sponsorships and promotional activities for the Parit Raja community, including Hwa Tai Industries, The Vision Optometry & Contact Lens Sdn Bhd, Top Vision Eye Specialist Centre, 20dB Hearing, and Little Spoon Gelato Café. In conjunction with the program, a health awareness talk was presented by Dr. Muhammad Hafizul Amin Bin Jimaain from the UTHM University Health Centre (PKU), followed by a session on the importance of hearing health by 20dB Hearing, Batu Pahat branch, attended by about 50 participants.
