Inbound Mobility: Universitas Riau Kepulauan (UNRIKA) & Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM)
From 16 to 18 April 2026, a total of 43 students and lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Riau Kepulauan (UNRIKA), participated in a Student Mobility Programme hosted by Johor Business School, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) in Malaysia.
The programme served as an important platform in strengthening international collaboration while fostering academic, cultural, and experiential exchange between both institutions. Through various educational and cultural activities, participants were given the opportunity to enhance their global perspectives and establish closer ties between Malaysia and Indonesia.
One of the key highlights of the programme was a visit to Tanjung Piai National Park, recognised as the southernmost point of mainland Asia. The participants were also brought to Claytan Ceramics in Ayer Hitam, where they explored the ceramic manufacturing process and took part in the Claytan Art Creation activity by painting on Claytan ceramic plates.
In addition, an official programme session was held at UTHM, featuring traditional performances presented by the UNRIKA delegation. The cultural showcase further enriched the programme by promoting mutual understanding, appreciation of cultural diversity, and stronger people-to-people connections between the two institutions.
