MBA@UTHM 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner | Celebrates a Decade of Excellence
BATU PAHAT, 7 June 2026 – MBA@UTHM marked a significant milestone with the successful organisation of its 10th Anniversary Gala Dinner at Maple Hall, Orchid Event Space, Batu Pahat, celebrating a decade of academic excellence, leadership development, and alumni achievements.
The prestigious event brought together alumni, current students, lecturers, industry partners, and distinguished guests in a meaningful reunion that reflected the remarkable journey of the MBA@UTHM programme over the past ten years.
Representing the Vice Chancellor of Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM), YBhg. Prof. Dr. Afandi bin Ahmad, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic and International), officiated the celebration. Also in attendance were YBhg. Prof. Ir. Dr. Mohd Amri bin Lajis, Member of the UTHM Board of Directors; YM Ungku Mohd Tahir Bin Ungku Mohd Zakaria, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Johor State Civil Service Academy; and YBhg. Prof. Ts. Dr. Rabiah binti Ahmad FASc, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Research and Innovation).
The gala dinner reunited alumni and students from Batch 1 (2016) to Batch 20 (2026), highlighting the programme’s evolution from its establishment under the Faculty of Technology Management and Business (FPTP) to its continued growth under Johor Business School (JBS). Throughout the past decade, MBA@UTHM has successfully nurtured graduates who have made meaningful contributions across the public and private sectors, entrepreneurship, and academia.
One of the highlights of the evening was the presentation of the 10 Alumni Awards, recognising outstanding graduates for their professional accomplishments, leadership, and contributions to society. The awards reflected the programme’s commitment to producing graduates who excel in their respective fields while upholding the values of excellence and integrity.
The celebration also featured a special appreciation ceremony honouring Prof. Dr. Wan Fauziah binti Wan Yusoff for her invaluable contributions, unwavering dedication, and exceptional leadership throughout her distinguished service to MBA@UTHM and the university community, as she embarks on her well-deserved retirement.
The success of the anniversary celebration was made possible through the collective efforts and unwavering support of sponsors, strategic partners, organising committee members, secretariat, students, lecturers, alumni, and invited guests. Their commitment has played a vital role in shaping the continued success and legacy of MBA@UTHM over the past decade.
